Analyzing Home and Away Scores: Performance Insights in Open Competitions

This analysis explores the scoring dynamics of home and away clubs in open competitions. We evaluate home versus visitor player performances and their corresponding CSS (Character Strength Scores). Our findings reveal that there is no significant difference in scores for players between home and away contexts. Additionally, we observe that, on average, there is a significant performance difference in home scores compared to away scores, signified by a CSS of +1.5. This comprehensive assessment utilizes player checks and separate analyses for targeted insights.
