  8. Decisions by the SQAG Non-EUCLID elements of PGDB Rick Kiralfy is co-ordinating report on use of PGDB across the University. Non-EUCLID elements will be taken forward as a satellite project. Managed Migration The options for meeting the University's statutory requirements for issuing Certificates of Acceptance for Studies and reporting to UKBA on engagement are under investigation. A recommendation should be available in early August. SMART Changes to SMART resulting for the decision to revise the scope of the Assessment project will be taken forward as a separate project by IS.

  9. Decisions by the SQAG • Technical Group • This group is led by Stuart Anderson of Informatics. He is already working • with IS on aspects of the work. • Stuart is providing clarification on the work of the technical group and on how it • dovetails with IS and the satellite projects. • Strategy for Communication • Strong support for agile working and short-life pro-active user groups. • Strategy for communication and the co-ordination of the User Group rest • with Sue Rigby. • A new communication is being prepared, outlining governance arrangements, • scope, the areas under investigation and how the satellite projects will be • taken forward.

Next steps • Communication will be sent in August outlining governance arrangements, • scope, the areas under investigation and how satellite projects will be taken • forward • Meeting with Heads of Schools in advance of new academic year • Future Implementation Co-ordinator network meetings will be cancelled with • ICs now having the opportunity to participate in user groups or keep up to date • through regular communications • IC area of the EUCLID website will be archived with relevant information • available from the programme section of the site
