How to Create an Account and Request to Speak on Arizona Legislation

Follow these steps to create an account and request to speak at the Arizona Legislature. First, visit www.azleg.gov. Click on the "Request to Speak" tab, then select "Make a Request to Speak". Log in and choose a body for your bill—using the bill number is easiest. Enter your city or town, select your stance on the bill, and add any comments. Lastly, elect to testify or decline, then submit your request. For assistance, contact the League of Arizona Cities and Towns at (602) 258-5786.

  1. Create an account through the League

  2. Go to www.azleg.gov

  3. Click on the “Request to Speak Tab”

  4. Click on “Make a Request to Speak”

  5. Login and Choose a Body

  6. Find your bill. Bill number is the easiest.

  7. Choose your bill

  8. Enter your City/Town

  9. Choose your stance

  10. Enter any comments

  11. Elect or decline to testify

  12. Submit

  13. Repeat or logout
