Introduction • There are two types of OPTIPOINT • The standard • The advanced +. This has a key module enabling to store numbers (model used by chef-secretary) • Dialog keys: • = to confirm • >< = to scroll through the menu
Settings of the phone • Press on the + or - • A menu will appear, select the setting parameter with the dialog keys < > • Ringer volume, ringer pitch, speakerphone volume • Confirm the required setting with • You can alter settings with + - • To store it press
How put numbers in memory? • Press: • Service • The repertory key ( free key on the phone) • Enter your number • Confirm with
How to transfer a call? • Your are on internal or external call • Confirm “double appel” proposed on the screen • Enter the number of the second person • Hang up to transfer the call or press on “transfert” • Press “coupure” to be connected to the first person
Toggling between two calls • You are on call with one person and the other one is placed on hold • The key “garde multiple” or “va etvient” will flash • By successively pressing this key, you will pass from one party to the other • Press on “coupure” if you want to end your call and return to the other party
How to activate a callback when the line is busy? • If you call an internal user and the line is busy • “Rappel” is proposed on your screen • When the user hangs up, your handset will start to ring • Lift up the receiver to initiate the call
How to activate a call back when the line is free? • Confirm “rappel” • The other party will have a red light on “message” • The other party has to press on message • Press on <> until you have “sortie” and confirm to call someone back • Press on <> until you have “effacer” and confirm to erase
Last number redial • You are on an internal or an external call • Press on “ répétition » • The number is stored on « répétition » • To call this person press on this key • This the last number stored and not the last number dialed
Variable call forwarding • Service • Confirm « destination » • Confirm “renvoi” • Enter the number where you can divert your incoming calls • Confirm « enregistrer » • To cancel: press the renvoi key
Fixe call forwarding • Service • Confirm « destination » • Confirm “renvoi” • Confirm “renvoi variable désactivé, prochain type de renvoi?” • Enter the number • Confirm « enregistrer? » • The key renvoi is on: your line isdiverted directly • The key renvoi is off: your line isdiverted after 20 secondes
To cancel the fixe call forwarding? • Service • Confirm “destination” • Confirm “renvoi” • Confirm “renvoi variable désactivé, prochain type de renvoi?” • Select with >< « effacer? » on your screen and confirm
Second call • Activate 2ème appel • You are on a call with someone • A second person try to reach you • Press on the “reprise” key flashing • The first person is placed on hold • Press on “garde multiple” flashing to pass from one party to the other • Press on “coupure” to end your call and you will be connected with the other
Executive/secretary application • All calls to the executive are routed to the secretary • The calls are indicated on the manager station on “reprise” and he can take the call by pressing on this key • If the executive would like to answer all his calls personally, press on “désactiver filtrage”
Executive/secretary application • If a call is intended to the executive and the secretary’s handset is busy and the key “2ème appel” of the chef’s handset is on • The key “reprise d’appel chef” will flash on the secretary’s handset • By pressing on this key, the first person is placed on hold automatically
