  2. ELVIS PRESLEY • Elvis Aaron Presley was born on 8th January 1935 and died on 18th August, 1977. He was a very famous rock singer. They called him “The king of rock”. • He made 31 movies, recorded 150 albums and had 14 Grammy nominations. One of his most famous songs is “Love me tender”. • Few days before his death Elvis lost his memory. His bodyguard found him dead in the bathroom. (David, 1ºB)

  3. AVRIL LAVIGNE • She was born on 27th September, 1984. She is a Canadian rock singer, a song writer, an actress and a designer. • Her first music hit came in 2002 with the album “Let Go”. Some of her best known songs are “Girlfriend”, “Hot”, “Complicated” and “Forgotten”. • Now Avril continues her musical career in her country. • (Julia, 1ºB)

  4. RAFAEL NADAL • Rafael Nadal is a Spanish tennis player. He was born in 1986 in Manacor, Majorca. • When he was 8 he played his first championship in Majorca. He trains with his coach, Toni Nadal. When he was studying the 4th year at High School he left his studies to play tennis. • He like fishing, playing golf and Play Station. • (Illán, 1ºB)

  5. SHAKIRA Shakira was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, on 2nd February, 1977. In Colombia she was a singer and producer. In 1996 she successfully entered the music industry after the release of her album “Pies descalzos”. Her fame spread worldwide when in 2001 she launched the album “Laundry service”. Her hobbies are dancing and playing sport. She is one of the singers who earns more money. (Miguel Ángel 1ºB)

  6. PATRICIA CONDE Patricia Conde was born in Valladolid. She has got a younger brother and an older one. When she was just fourteen years old she started working as a model and in 1999 she took part in the Miss Spain Beauty Contest representing Palencia. A few years later she started working on TV. She has also worked as an actress in theatre and in some films. Since 2006 she has been the presenter of a well-known humor show “Sé lo que hicisteis”, a programme that is on in LaSexta.   7. JOHNNY DEPP • He was born on 9th June 1963 in Owensboro, Kentuchy, but he grew up in Florida. • His parents divorced, so he started taking drugs and left school to become a musician. One day he met the actor Nicholas Cage, who asked him if he wanted to be an actor. • Now he is very famous. He has appeared in films like “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Edward Scissorhands” and “Alice in Wonderland”. His best friend is Tim Burton, because he is Tim’s favourite actor. • (María 1ºB)
