  1. Arkansas Mystery Rock • While visiting relatives in Arkansas, Uncle Joe showed us some rocks that he found on this farm. He told us that we could take our favorite. After looking through many choices, we decided to take the fossil you see in the pictures. • We asked Uncle Joe if he knew anything about the rock. He said that Arkansas is famous for fossils. He also said that this area was once filled with water and trees. People from all over collect Arkansas fossils from Searcy County. • Let’s solve the mystery of this rock. Then, we can thank Uncle Joe for his gift by creating an electronic scrapbook of our findings.
