Related Legislation • 34 CFR 300.704(b)(4)(ii) – To support paperwork reduction activities, including expanding the use of technology in the IEP process • 1003.576, F.S. – Individual education plans for exceptional students.—The Department of Education must develop and have an operating electronic IEP system in place for potential statewide use no later than July 1, 2007. The statewide system shall be developed collaboratively with school districts and must include input from school districts currently developing or operating electronic IEP systems.
