  2. Born February 17th 1963 in Bronx, New York

  3. Moved to Wilmington , North Carolina where he stayed for the rest of childhood years

  4. After getting cut from the basketball team his sophmore year he would work as hard as he could to make the team the next year .

  5. Michael was ready to sign with another shoe company , but his parents insisted he meet with nike. The rest is history.(This was his first shoe) retail 59.00

  6. His latest shoe retails at 223$

  7. Michael now comes out with a shoe every year in February to celebrate his birthday

  8. Michael is now head of Basketball operations for the Charlotte Bobcats . They recently set a record becoming the worst team in NBA history. They went 7-59

  9. He also has two sons Marcus and Jeffrey at the University of Central Florida

  10. In 2011 he was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame
