Twentieth Century Artists UIL 2013-2014 Practice

There are 10 Twentieth Century paintings. The time period is 1900-2000. Social and technological changes inspired artists to create their own responses to the world with art styles such as impressionism changing the rules. Everything goes.

Practice #1. • Number a piece of paper 1-10. • Write down the name of the artist and his/her artwork as we cover it. • When we are finished, flip your paper over and see how you do on a spelling test of the Renaissance artists/artwork. • You can check for accuracy by flipping your paper over. • On the weekend, practice writing the words correctly and connecting the artist and name of art to the picture.
