The SWO Fundamentals course comprises a total of 120 hours, designed for qualified CICWO students. Prerequisites include completing a PDI 360 self-survey and obtaining feedback. To successfully complete the course, students must pass all written exams: SWO Fundamentals Exam (>75%), Rules of the Road Exam (>90%), and Comprehensive Final Exam (Nav/MW) (>75%). Two MW quizzes will assist in preparation, and one retake is permitted for any failed exam. Students failing any retake will be retrained by ISIC or ATG.

Prerequisites: OOD Underway qualification At least CICWO qualified PDI 360 self-survey and respondent feedback completed Written Exams: Must pass all to successfully complete course SWO Fundamentals Exam (>75%) Rules of the Road Exam (>90%) Comprehensive Final Exam (Nav/MW) (>75%) (Two MW quizzes will be given for test preparation) One retakes allowed for any failed exam Any student failing any retake shall be retested by their ISIC or ATG PREREQUISITES/EXAMS/ASSESSMENTS
