  2. Who is Part of Our Kiwanis Family? • K-Kids • Builders • Key Leader • KEY CLUB • Circle K • Aktion • And of course, Kiwanis!

What are these Kiwanis Family Members? • K-Kids • For elementary school students • Builders • For middle school students • We sponsor them • Key Leader • Key Leader is a weekend experience where students between the ages of 14-18 can attend a leadership-focused program • Focus on servant leadership

  4. Circle K Premier collegiate service organization Self-governing Aktion Club Mission statement: To provide adults living with disabilities an opportunity to develop initiative, leadership skills, and to serve their communities

  5. Kiwanis Global organization of members dedicated to change the world, one child and one community at a time They are to support us and all family branches Every Key Club should be sponsored by a local Kiwanis Club

  6. How to get Involved: Meetings • Attend your sponsoring Kiwanis Club’s meeting • Ask your club president or respective Lieutenant Governor about when and where • Get to know your Kiwanis Advisor • Get their contact information • Email to update them • Invite Kiwanis to Key Club meetings

  7. Attend a Kiwanis DCM Ask Your Lt. Governor: Which Kiwanis division you belong to When and where your Kiwanis DCMs are held Get to know your Kiwanis Lt. Governor Talk to your Lt. Governor about inviting Kiwanis to Key Club DCMs Ask if they would like to share, give presentations, chaperone etc.

How to get Involved: Events • Officer Training Conference • Ask your Kiwanis Club if they’d be interested in helping out with OTC • Ask them if they would like to present or even if they can give ride some of the attendees • Have them share • Their experiences as a leaders • Effectives ways of leadership that have helped them • Ask for sponsorship for food or for the facility • Kiwanis loves to help us out no matter the cost. • Warning: Do not take advantage of this!

How to get Involved:Other Kiwanis Family Members • Sponsor a K-Kids or Builders Club at a local elementary/middle school • Visit them • Assist with meetings and service projects • Find out who your Circle K Lt. Governor is • Hold a joint event with the local Circle K • They can be mentors and provide Key Clubbers with advice for college

  10. How to get Involved: Service Projects • Plan a service event with all of them! • Have a joint service project! • These can be held with any local member of the Kiwanis Family, or all of them! • Ask them if they want to co-sponsor an event • If they have an event coming up, ask if Key Club could help out
