Opzet 4 hoofdstukken Hoofdstuk 1 Voorgeschiedenis en staats- inrichting Hoofdstuk 2 periode 1865-1918 Hoofdstuk 3 periode 1918-1945 Hoofdstuk 4 periode 1945-1965 In elk hoofdstuk 3 thema’s -industrialisatie (regulerende rol overheid) -burgerrechten (zwarte bevolking) -buitenlandse politiek (expansie)

  3. vervolg 1865 als begin (logisch):einde Burgeroorlog -meer eenheid -begin Industriële revolutie -belangrijkere rol in de wereld 1965 als eind (onlogisch) -CivilRights Act aangenomen -kritiek op de consumptiemaatschappij -buitenlandse politiek aan andere opstelling toe

  4. Stofomschrijving geen uitgebreid verhaal, want anders te veel reproductie en te weinig eigen werk → Leerlingen moeten zelf -verbanden leggen -conclusies trekken -historische voorbeelden geven met gebruik van de historische vaardigheden (zie blz 101) en benaderingswijzen (historisch kritische houding/historisch besef)

  5. Stofomschrijving geeft vooral -historische ontwikkelingen -namen van personen -begrippen -jaartallen (die tussen haakjes staan hoef je niet te kennen)
