  4. International Membership & Cooperation • ATPF (Asian Trade Promotion Forum) • EAN International • BIE (Bureau International Exposition) • FARA (Federation of Asia Pacific Retailers Association) • ATA Carnet • ILAC (International laboratory Accreditation Cooperation)

  5. Regional trade facilitation program • Mongolia is involved in the Regional trade facilitation program launched in 2002 (CAREC). • Trade logistics development study was completed in Mongolia in 2006. Logistic centers will be built in Zamyn Uud, Tsagaannuur and UB • National Trade & Transport Facilitation Committee is established in 2006. (MNCCI member) • National Transport & Logistics program drafting group is in operation, established by CA and MNCCI

  6. Customs reform and modernization project • Customs and business council has been established in 2006 jointly with Customs Authority (CA) and MNCCI • Single Electronic window concept is being elaborated by joint effort of CA and MNCCI

  7. Councils at the Chamber • More than 27 Councils and Committees • MONPRO Committee/ Trade Facilitation Committee • - Council of the laboratories • - Transport & Logistics Council

Activities on trade facilitation • Department of inspection of export and import goods -control the quantity and quality of export and import goods -cooperation with the laboratories -member of ILAC(International laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) -cooperation with Mongolian Agency for Standardization and Metrology

  9. Activities on trade facilitation • Foreign Trade Documentation Department • Issuing the Certificate of Origin • Certifying the foreign trade documents (contract, commercial invoice, packing list) -issuing the bar code • Cooperation with customs administration • Customs & business council

  10. Activities on trade facilitation • Translation & edition of the publication of ITC/UNCTAD/GATT “Training handbook on export documentation“ in Mongolian language. -commercial invoice -packing list -certificate of origin -insurance certificate

  11. Activities on trade facilitation -bill of exchange -letter of credit carrier’s declaration Samples of foreign trade contracts
