  2. Shorthistory Rotterdam is the second-largestcity in the Netherlands and on of the largestports in the world. Afterconstructingis as a small village on the Rotte River, Rotterdam hasgrowninto a major internationalcommercialcentre. The city was the world’sbusiest port from 1962 to 2004.

  4. Blijdorp DiergaardeBlijdorpis a zoo in the northwestern part of Rotterdam, one of the oldestones in the Netherlands – thisobjectis 157 yearsold.
