  2. Stomach Cancer Stomach Cancer is well known as gastric cancer, it is identified by the expansion of cancerous cells inside the lining of the stomach. This cancer can metastasize to other parts of the body, including the liver, bones, lungs and lymph nodes.Different sections of the stomach cause various symptoms and hence different results. It takes many years for the growth of stomach cancer.According to global reports and research, stomach cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer but now the rates have been falling worldwide.

  3. Causes of Stomach Cancer According to some research, stomach cancer is caused by: Helicobacter pylori Genetics

  4. Risks related to Stomach Cancer There are many factors that can increase your increase of stomach cancer: A diet high in salty and pickled foods Smoking Exposure to asbestos Long-term stomach inflammation Pernicious anemia Stomach polyps

  5. Prevention Avoid smoking Regular exercise Eat more fruits and vegetables Avoid less smoked or pickled foods Wear protective garments if working in coal mining, industries, etc.

  6. How is stomach cancer diagnosed? To find the existence and severity of stomach cancer, many tests and procedures are available: GastroscopicExam Imaging Tests Barium Meal X-ray Laparoscopy CT Scan or PET Scan Upper Endoscopy

  7. Symptoms of Stomach Cancer In the early stages of stomach cancer, many signs and symptoms are hard to recognize. Some of the main signs and symptoms of stomach cancer are: Feeling bloated after meals Fatigue Stomach pain Loss of appetite Persistent vomiting Unexplained, persistent nausea

  8. How is stomach cancer treated? Surgery - Depending on the stage and type of stomach cancer, surgery may be done to eliminate the cancer and part or nearby affected lymph nodes. Chemotherapy - Inoculated via mouth as pills or into a vein, anti-cancer drugs are being utilized by chemotherapy during the treatment of stomach cancer. Radiation Therapy - Radiation therapy uses powerful particles and rays to kill cancer cells in a particular area of the body. Targeted Therapies - There are certain targeted therapies and drugs that can help stop or slow the spread and growth of cancer cells.
