  4. EMBASE概述： • 荷兰医学文摘数据库(The Excerpta Medica Database,简称EMBASE) • 荷兰Elsevier Science出版社 • 多种版本形式： • 印刷版(文摘型检索工具） • 1946年创刊，42个分册 • 分类目次-正文-索引 • On-line • DIALOG、 OVID、STN、ScienceDirect等检索系统中。 • EMBASE.com** • CD-ROM 光盘数据库

  7. 二. EMBASE分类与标引 • 1988年开始使用独特的生命科学词典 EMTREE 在 EMBASE 和 MEDLINE 之间检索，可自动进行主题词对照检索。

  8. EMBASE 主题系统 • 主题词表EMTREE：医学叙词与药学叙词4.6万个，并包含了部分MeSH词 • 主题检索时，系统将同时检索: Major Medical Descriptors (DEM), Minor Medical Descriptors (DER), Major Drug Descriptors (DRM), and Minor Drug Descriptors (DRR)字段。字段限定为SU

EMTREE取词规则 *自然词语序e.g. acute granulocytic leukemia (急性粒细胞性白血病 not leukemia, acute granulocytic) *单数名词形式e.g. stomach tumor (not gastric tumors) *美式写法优先于英式写法 e.g. fetus (not foetus) *少数的缩写词e.g. nuclear magnetic resonance (“nmr” is a synonym) *希腊字母拼出e.g. alpha adrenergic receptor *元标点，无连字符，省略号，逗号，化学物质除外。 e.g. down syndrome; 4 ethyl 2,5 dimethoxyamphetamine (二甲苯异丙胺）[连字符用于精确检索] *可使用专深词汇e.g. acute lymphocytic leukemia (as well as the broader term "leukemia")

EMTREE_关联词 EMTREE - Disease Link and Drug Link Terms Disease link terms and drug link terms are controlled terms frequently used with a medical or drug index term to indicate precise associations. They have been used in EMBASE since 1988. Search for these associations by using a hyphen between the index term and the link term or as independent terms. For example, the search cardiovascular-surgery in su retrieves records that are about surgical aspects of cardiovascular.
