Kim's Great Uncle built and owned many cottages on the North end of Siesta Key Beach. Kim's father had her on a surf board the minute she could stand. Her entire life was spent on the beach, that is what is the inspiration for our candles and jewelry. Kim started making candles because she wanted a candle that was non-toxic and beautifully scented. Some of her experiences with candles she bought in the past were not impressive. At first the candle would smell then later after a few burns she couldn't smell the scent.

Kim started making candles because she wanted a candle that was non-toxic and beautifully scented. Some of her experiences with candles she bought in the past were not impressive. At first the candle would smell then later after a few burns she couldn't smell the scent.
She started making them and gave them to her friends and before she knew it she began selling them, then had a successful FAMILY business. Having a non-toxic candle burning in your house is important.
The Johnson Family consist of Gary and Kim and their amazing children Blake and Brooke. Blake is an aspiring artist as well. Blake creates all artwork on the candle jars and tins. Brooke helps create beaded jewelry for young ladies like herself.
Each Soy Candle has it's own unique look. Each container is hand picked and inspected for use. All containers are made of glass. This is a family business so each candle is made with care and love.
Everything is handmade and containers may be used again, just wash with soap and warm water. All candles hand poured and candle oil used is derived from essential oils . Scents vary. Custom orders can be taken with a 6 week advanced placement.
