Our Mission The mission of Academic Vocational Charter Institute is to provide students with a strong education and set of skills in Career Technical Education (CTE) in a variety of CTE career pathways and, through the use of project-based, hands-on and authentic experiential learning in which academic courses are integrated with CTE skills, prepare students for well-paying post-secondary employment, and post-secondary training and educational opportunities after graduating in four years.

Our Vision Our vision is to create a school in which students apply the values of hard work, perseverance, and collaboration, such as are necessary in the adult workplace, and graduate from AVCI with a set of academic and CTE skills that give students the ability and confidence to support themselves and their families as adults, and to set, pursue and succeed in their personal goals in life.
