  3. History Arsenal Football Club are an English professional football club based in Holloway, North London. They play in the Premier League and are one of the most successfull clubs inEnglish football, having won thirteen First Division and Premier League titles and ten FA Cups. Arsenal were founded in 1886 and were the first Southern club to join the Football League, in 1893. Arsene has got sonAlphonse and wife Louise, Arsène Wenger was born in Strasbourg and grew up in the nearby village of Duttlemheim with an older sister and brother. His parents owned an automobile spare-parts business in Strasbourg, as well as a bistro in Duttlenheim called La Croix d'Or.
