Notes from the Inspectors • Team of 4 inspectors • Lead inspector Haydn Evans • Onsite from 8:00am – based in careers library • Most of their time will be spent in lessons • Some meetings will also take place with staff • Staff briefing at 8:30 tomorrow.
Remember • Progress needs to be observable • No set lesson style or plan • Evidence of assessment – no unmarked books! • No students to be out of lessons • Let SLT know if you are doing assessments etc • Site open to 9pm and open at 6am • Meetings very brief tonight with OFSTED focus • Trainee teachers not to teach
Assembly Notes • We are proud of them • Conduct at break time and lunchtime really important • Active and confident learning in lessons • Respond quickly to teacher instructions • Inspectors will want to talk to them • Show them just how good we are at Oathall
