  1. MOS Exam Test Taking Tips Tips: • Read the question and decide right away if you will complete it or skip it. Skipping will reset the question and will not save any of your previous work within that question. • If you are having trouble with a task, skip it. • Don’t focus on the time remaining, but do glance at your time periodically to make sure you are on track. Try to keep your time at about 1 minute per question. • If you are getting close to end of your 50 minutes, try to answer as many questions as you can and skip through those you aren’t sure how to complete. • The questions often will give away which tab on the ribbon you should be working in. • Generally the first part of the question asks you to work with a particular slide. Immediately go to that slide, and then read each step to determine the best way to complete the task(s), or skip if necessary. Test Mode options to move to next question: Next – finalizes answer and scores your question. You will not see question again. Reset – refreshes question to clear any tasks you have already completed. Skip – sends question to the end of exam and clears any work you have already completed in that question.
