  39. 4.2.1 Scenarios in a project • When you create a project, the first step that must be done is to define a reference scenario, on which the future scenarios will be based • Once created, the reference scenario must be validated • Once the reference scenario validated, you can create and manage others scenarios which will be based on the reference scenario • Note : The reference scenario models the project’s system. It is built by assembling the relevant processes/treatments created by the process expert 47

  40. 4.2.1.1 The reference scenario Select a process (before or after the characteristics) When you have selected a process, click on the "Add" button • First step: Creation of process • Select a type of process in the list (or select the characteristics and then a process) • Click on the "Add" button • A new line is created in the selected type of process with a blank space • Fill the name of your process in this blank space • When you have finish to create your processes, click on the "submit" button to save them • You can change the position of the processes by clicking on the arrows • You can delete the processes by clicking on the associated "delete" button. When you have click on "Add", a new line is displayed where you can fill in the name When you have created all your process, click on the submit button 48

  41. 4.2.1.1 The reference scenario • Second step: Creation of treatment • Select a type of treatment in the list (or select the characteristics and then a treatment) • Fill in a name • If you want to link the treatment with a process (not necessary), • Check the box • Select a process • Select a direction • Click on the "Add" button 49

  42. 4.2.1.1 The reference scenario • Second step: Creation of treatment • When you have clicked on the "Add" button, a new line is created with the parameters of the treatment • When you have created all your treatments, click on the "Submit" button to continue. • You can modify the parameters of the treatment by clicking on the "Modify" button". Make the modifications, and then click "Apply" to save. • You can also delete a treatment by clicking on "Delete". This treatment has not been linked to a process This treatment has been linked to a process 50

  43. 4.2.1.1 The reference scenario • Third step: Creation of general process • Select a general process in the list (or the characteristics and then a process) • Fill in a name • Then click on the "Add" button • When you have added a general process, a new line is created • You can also delete a general process by clicking on "Delete" • When you have created all your general processes, click on the "Next" button to continue All the created general processes are indexed in this list 51

  44. 4.2.1.1 The reference scenario • Fourth step: Summary and creation of link • You can create or delete links between the elements created before • Select the element of origin in the "From" column • Select the end element in the "To" column. • Click on the "Link" button to create a new link, or the "Erase" button to delete Click on this button if the elements on the graph are not clickable. It happens when you display the page for the first time 52

  45. 4.2.1.1 The reference scenario • Fourth step: Summary and creation of link • You can directly see your scenario on the graph • All the elements (blocks an arrows) are clickable in order to modify their values • To make the elements active, you must click on the icon “Click to make useful the element blocks” at the top of the web page 53

  46. 4.2.1.1 The reference scenario • Fourth step: Summary and creation of link • When you click on a block, you can change the values of the associated variables • Change the values and click on "Modify values" to save them • The default values are the values defined by the process expert who has created the process, general process or treatment • You can verify the reference scenario by clicking on the "Check the reference scenario" button. • An information message will be displayed to help to correct the reference scenario 54

  47. 4.2.1.1 The reference scenario • Remarks: • On all the creation page of a scenario, you can navigate from one step to another easily by selecting the wanted step in the list • You can also display a summary of which elements (with theirs characteristics) that you can use in the scenario by clicking on the "Summary page" button Click on this button to display a summary page of all the elements Select the Step you want to go 55

  48. 4.2.1.1 The reference scenario • When you have finished to create your reference scenario, you must validate it in order to continue • Caution: When you validate a reference scenario, you will not be able to modify it, and all the future scenarios will be based on it • So please make sure of the relevance of your reference scenario before its validation 56

  49. 4.2.1.2 The scenarios • When you have validated the reference scenario, the project expert can • Create scenarios based on the reference one • Open and modify existing scenarios • Copy existing scenarios • Delete existing scenarios 57
