  3. Sunpro-Tech supplies 70% of S.A’s local demand for de-hulled sunflower seeds to the health food industries and bakeries. New products to be launched in 2010 includes flavoured sunflower kernels in 4 variants: • Salt & Vinegar • Sweet Chilli • Fruit Chutney • Cream Cheese & Chives and a sunflower seed brittle.

  6. IS MADE FROM SUNFLOWER SEEDS and is nut free – contains no peanut or tree nut and is manufactured in a nut-free facility so; people sensitive or allergic to nuts can consume this product.

  7. Peanuts and tree nuts are in the top eight which cause 90% of all food allergy reactions. Serving peanut butter to children below the age of three is not recommended by many physicians. Sunspread™ was developed to address the growing peanut allergy problem. Because Sunspread™ is made from sunflower seed in a peanut-free facility; the risk associated with serving peanuts to a peanut-sensitive person is greatly reduced.
