University Education in Audiology • Medical students: • Integrated into different courses (anatomy, physiology) • Small amount of audiology (5 h +practical training) • Physicians (training for ENT-specialists) • Formalized training in the department of audiology • Speech-Language-Therapists (Logopedics) • 2 Term course in Audiology at the University of Fribourg • New: Engineers and Physicians • Program: “Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering” • University of Berne and School of Engineering (Biel) • New course on “Biomedical Acoustics”

  3. Non-University Education in Audiology • Hearing aid acousticians • Courses in poractical audiometry for persons working for resident ENT-specialists • Beginning, so far 1 course performed in 2007 • Currently developing a PC-Training program
