2. What is a MSME? Now, what is the meaning of MSME? MSME stands for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise. Any enterprise that falls under any of these three classes. Micro scale, Small and Medium sized enterprises in both the production & service sector can get MSME Registration under the MSMED Act. Though the MSME registration is not statutory, it is helpful for business at it gives a scope of advantages such as eligibility for lower rates of interest, power tariff subsidies, tax subsidies, excise exemption scheme, capital investment subsidies and other support. You will need the following documents to register in MSME. • Documents in respect of partners • Pan Card Copy, ID Proof , Residential Proof , Passport Size Photograph. • Other documents. • Rental Agreement (if rented property), Sale Deed/ Property Deed (for owned property). • Also the following documents need to be attested before the submission. • Affidavit, Declaration Document, NOC - No Objection Certificate, Subscription documents of MOA, Subscription documents of AOA Other documents Documents in respects of partners Documents that will be sent by us for your attestations/signatures • Pan Card Copy • ID Proof – Aadhaar Card/ Voter's ID/ Passport/ Driving License • Residential Proof - Latest Bank Statement/ Telephone or Mobile Bill/ Electricity or Gas Bill • Passport Size Photograph • Rental Agreement (if rented property) • Sale Deed/ Property Deed (for owned property) • Affidavit • Declaration Document • NOC - No Objection Certificate • 2 Witnesses for deed MSME certificate
