  3. General context • The school role is basic in the Media Literacy and • Image Education • It is fundamental to start the Media Literacy within the youngest students

  4. ACTION PLANS • To define basic competencies or skills • Teachers’ trainning • To integrate them to the school programme • To promote school productions • Parents • Relationship with the media

  5. Image Education competencies • Media Literacy and Image Education concern us all • It is one of the key prerequisites for active citizenship

  6. More than 421 experiences in Media class work proposals

  7. IN-SERVICE TEACHERS’ TRAINING • To reach basic skills in MAV • To know and use often the resources used by the MAV. • To know and use the equipments of the centre and its possibilities in the student’s personal work.
