Providing you with information • With four primary communications, you receive important, relevant and timely information. • Bi-monthly newsletters: • Voice of Nursing Leadership – showcases excellence in nursing and patient care leadership and helps you understand the latest public policy developments. • Nurse Leader – the official journal of AONE, leaders in the field publish research, best practices and real life examples of their work. • Weekly emails: • eNews Update – summarizes the top health care and nursing stories of the week. • AONE Working for You – updates you on AONE developments, education programs and partnerships.

AONE Nurse Executive Competencies • AONE believes managers at all levelsshould be competent in: • Communication and relationship-building • A knowledge of the health care environment • Leadership • Professionalism • Business skills • Competencies describe skills common to nurses in executive practice regardless of educational level or titles in different organizations. • AONE also supports the Nurse Manager Leadership Partnership Nurse Manager Learning Domain Framework; available on the website.

AONE Credentialing Center • Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) • Developed for nurse leaders who are engaged in executive nursing practice. • Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) • Designed for nurse leaders in the nurse manager role - offered in partnership with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).

  11. Group membership AONE’s group membership program is designed for nursing leadership teams to participate in AONE collectively. Each participant receives an individual membership and has full access to AONE benefits. Because the entire team joined, the members have an in-house group of peers to discuss the latest Guiding Principle, Voice of Nursing Leadership article or eNews story AONE has released.
