This research focuses on the discovery and characterization of bottom baryon states that have yet to be observed but are predicted to exist. We aim to measure the mass of specific baryon states, such as the Lambda_C and Kaon-, for the first time and investigate branching ratios that have not been measured before. Utilizing data from different decay channels, including Lambda_B to Lambda_C transitions, we will clean up the data to ensure accurate mass measurements. This could provide insights into the underlying physics of baryon resonances.

1. Bottom Baryon States (not seen yet but known to exist) to Discover with Clean Cuts – to either see and measure mass for first time or measure a braching ratio that was not measured before. Arie Bodek, Yonsei Chung
1. State 6.8 GeV (measure mass –see predictions below – final state is Lambda C+ Kaon- with the LambdaCseen in either Phi-P (cleaned) or PKPi (cleaned) The state cbd - which has not been seen yet - decays has follows: d (-1/3) -------------------------------------------------------------------- c (+2/3 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LambdaC (dcu) b(-1/3) ---------------c (+2/3) --------------------- --| u (2/3) | cbar(-2/3)-----| ubar(2/3)-- | | Kaon (s-ubar) -----w{+} --------------- -s(-1/3) ----(or d)-----(cabbibo sup pion) SAMPLES 1: Lambda B decays to Lambda C and a pion (clean up and put mass of Kaon) – long lived. Control sample is LambdaB to LambdaC and Kaon and reflection of LambdaB to LambdaB pion (LambdaB to LambdaC Kaon for first time) Sample 2 : Phi –P – Pi (Clean up, require Phi P to be a Lambda C, put mass of Kaon)
