  5. Der Reichstag The Reichstag, the seat of the German Parliament, is one of Berlin's most historical landmarks. It is close to the BrandenburgerTor and before the unification, it was right next to the Berlin Wall.

  7. Right on the border between East and West Berlin at the Pariser Platz, the Brandenburger Gate was the symbol of the city's divide.

  9. Alexanderplatz At the beginning of the 19th century, the Alexander-platz was one of the busiest squares in the city. Most of the buildings on the square were destroyed by bombing during the second world war.

  11. Fernsehturm • The TV tower, known as the Fernsehturm or the Tele-spargel (toothpick) is one of the largest structures in Europe. The total length to the top of the spire is 365m or 1197 ft. It was built in 1969 by a team of architects with the help of Swedish experts. It contains a concrete shaft, a steel-cladded metal sphere and a TV antenna. The sphere contains a revolving restaurant (Telecafé) at 207m and a viewing platform at a height of 203m.

  14. Berliner Dom The Berliner Dom is a baroque Cathedral built between 1894 and 1905. It is located on an island in the river Spree, also known as the Museum Island.

  16. Europa Center Though many newer and glitzier malls have sprung up in the city since Europa Center was built, locals still have a soft spot for this Berlin first. Still home to dozens of shops, restaurants, clubs, and cinemas, tons of tourists still stop here to do a little souvenir shopping and to grab a pint at the Irish pub.

  17. Haus der Kulturen der Welt The House of World Cultures (Haus Der Kulturen Der Welt) was built in post-war Berlin, Germany with the purpose of serving as “a symbol and beacon of freedom” and to promote the importance of respecting one another’s cultural differences.

  18. Holocaust Memorial In May 2005, on the 60th anniversary of the fall of the Nazi regime and the end of World War II, the city of Berlin dedicated their Holocaust Memorial, designed to commemorate the murder of six million European Jews at the hands of Hitler and his forces.

  19. Kunst In Berlin gibt es viel kunst und Sculpturen. Der Mann an der Pferd ist Friedrich Wilhelm IV. Es ist vor dem Alte Nationalgalerie. Das Bild am recht ist das scultur an Tauentzienstrasse in der nahe von der Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Kirche.

  20. Essen Heir ist Berliner Bratwurst, eine lieblings in die stadt. Dis ist currywurst. Es ist kleine wurst mit hiess Tomate sauce und Curry Pulver.
