Divisibilty Rules!. A number is divisible by 2 IF:. It is an even number. This includes all numbers which end in a 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 Examples- 26; 102; 9,998. A number is divisible by 3 IF:. The sum of the digits is divisible by 3. Examples- 111; 9, 18, 36, 90.

  2. A number is divisible by 2 IF: • It is an even number. • This includes all numbers which end in a 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 • Examples- 26; 102; 9,998

  3. A number is divisible by 3 IF: • The sum of the digits is divisible by 3. • Examples- 111; 9, 18, 36, 90

  4. A number is divisible by 4 IF: • The last two digits are divisible by 4. • Examples- 240; 196; 220; 90,540

  5. A number is divisible by 5 IF: • The ones digit is 0 or 5. • Examples- 100; 9000; 9005; 80; 115

  6. A number is divisible by 6 IF: • The number is divisible by 2 and 3. • Examples- 24; 42; 96

  7. A number is divisible by 9 IF: • The sum of the digits is divisible by 9. • Examples- 18; 45; 108; 909; 540

  8. A number is divisible by 10 IF: • The last digit is 0. • Examples- 10; 20; 30; 9990; 2350
