  2. Hayabusa K2-K7 ECU Interfaces • Two types • Gauge data only • Gauge data and programming interface • Based on FTDI TTL232R 5.0V cable which supports the special baud rate for gauge data. Can be bought from (www.ftdichip.com) • For programming interface an additional 4 connector switch is required

Programming and gaugedata interface for K2-K7 Programming and gauge data interface for K2-K7 Hayabusa by PetriK, rev 1, 4.5.2008 This interface is based on using USB to RS232TTL converter using one ON-OFF-ON switch with 4 separate contacts. The TxD,RxD, FWE and MD1 are connected to ECU harness connector to empty slots. The Gauge data and GND must be connected to wires that are already connected to ECU. Gauge data Green black wire (pin 33) ECU connector Switch RxD pin 30 TxD pin 29 Optional LED with 220Ohm resistor can be connected between these Red/Black pins to indicate non programming state when laptop is connected. FWE pin 48 MD1 pin 14 GND BlackWhite wire (Pin 54) USB connector tocomputer for data stream Monitoring or for ecu programming. TTL-232R-5.0V USB

Gaugedate only interface for 1999-2007 Hayabusas Gauge data only interface for K2-K7 Hayabusa by PetriK, 2008 This interface is based on using USB to RS232TTL converter to monitor gauge datastream. ECU harness connector gauge data wire is connected to orange and yellow wires of the USB connector. The black wire from USB connector is connected to black/white ECU harness wire. Gauge data Green black wire (pin 33) GND BlackWhite wire (Pin 54) USB connector tocomputer for data stream Monitoring or for ecu programming. TTL-232R-5.0V USB
