San Antonio Chapter Tuskegee Airmen Inc. hosts an Inaugural Scholarship Foundation Fundraiser • The San Antonio Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. or SAC-TAI was chartered in 1987 and continues as a diverse group of dedicatedprofessionals who represent all sectors of our community. Civilian, military, academic, medical, social and religious entities work in concert with local area Original Tuskegee Airmen striving to: • Preserve the legacy of the original Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American aviators of • the U.S. Army Air Corps • Bring together all who share in the aspirations, frustrations and success of pioneering men and women in U.S. military aviation • Motivate minority youth toward aviation and aerospace careers goals, and • Inspire youth to outstanding achievements and leadership in our democratic society through social and educational activities. • As a supporter of the Chapter and its on-going programs, you will have the great distinction of ensuring our continued efforts to encourage and motivate our young men and women to seek opportunity, strive for achievement and pursue excellence.
