  1. Interjections Interjections are the sounds people make to express emotion (not to be confused with onomatopoeias which are just sounds) Examples: ah, wow, ugh, whew, ouch, omg!

  2. Interjections Directions: On your notes, identify the interjections in each of the sentences. There are 5 total. You do not need to copy the sentences. 1. Yeah! We won! 2. Well, this is a surprise. 3. Yes, I’d like some more. 4. Fiddlesticks! I broke my glasses! 5. I pressed the wrong button. Whoops!
