This document provides the latest updates on the implementation status of HIP 4 on FreeBSD and Linux, dated March 24, 2006. The base code is accessible online, with prior snapshots from 2005 and 2006 available. Currently, FreeBSD (versions 5.4 and 6.0) and Linux (version 2.6.15.2) are supported. Features include mobility, multihoming, and BEET mode. Ongoing developments involve the HIP Mobile Router and DHT support. Future plans include enhancing the User Guide and FAQ.
