  1. WHY DIDN’T THE BIBLE SAY SO… “The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple” (Psalm 19:7).

  2. SURE – That can be relied upon • Dependable. • Why can’t “religious” people understand this? • We’ve developed so many ideas, and failed to question them or ourselves. • Why don’t we see what God says about:

  3. “Attend The Church of Your Choice” • A popular slogan – any church is better than no church. Find one that approves your vices. • Matt. 16:18; Eph. 1:22f, 4:3-6; 5:25-27; I Cor. 12:12f; I Tim. 3:15; Rev. 2-3 • The church of your choice - ??? • If all the different kinds of churches with all their different designations, teachings, conditions for membership, forms of government and approaches to worship are what the Lord wants, Why didn’t the Bible say so??

  4. “It Just Feels Right In My Heart” • Romans 14:22-23 – Our heart should approve our actions! • But that doesn’t make anything “right”. • Acts 23:1; 26:9-11; Prov. 14:12; 12:15 • Atheists, followers of Islam, Mormons “feel right” in their hearts. • If that’s all it takes, why didn’t God say so???

  5. “But we’re committed to each other” • Good. Life partners should be committed to each other. But a “piece of paper” does matter. The Lord said: • Matt. 19:3-9 • Gal. 5:19 • If just being committed to each other is as good as marriage – why didn’t the Lord say so???

  6. Same Sex “Marriages” • It’s just an “alternate life style”. There’s no perversion. You’re taught this in many places. But not in the Bible. • I Cor. 6:9; Romans 1:26-28 • The pattern in the beginning – Adam for Eve and Eve for Adam. • But God made me this way. A child molester, a murderer, a thief, a drunk? • If God approved of same sex marriages – why doesn’t the Bible say so???

  7. It’s Time • For all “religious” people to listen to God. • Or give up the pretending. • Would you obey the gospel of the true God? Today?
