  2. PURPOSE AND TOOLS The purpose of the assignment is to present ratio data using a histogram bar graph and a pie chart to show the results of the total household income of 34 participants. RATIO LEVEL OF MEASUREMENT: • Can be calculated and meaningful • Can be categorized and ranked • Distance between the ranks is specific • True zero point can be identified (Nieswiadomy,2012,p.165)

  3. HISTOGRAM Number of people out of 34 replies (Nieswiadomy,2012,p.209) Histogram Bar Graph represents a frequency distribution of a variable measured

  4. PIE GRAPH Pie Graph shows proportions/percentages through comparison, for a total of 100%. It displays a whole and smaller part as they relate to each other (NCI,2011). The result is based on answers from 34 participants.
