  3. Baby Mouse • Born VERY tiny • Eyes are closed • No hair!!

  4. Young Mouse • Looks like its parents • Goes outside the next when it is only two weeks old

  5. Adult Mouse • Has pretty much looked the same its entire life! • The older it gets,the more it looks like its parents. • An adult mouse can have babies and the life cycle starts again.

Interesting Facts • A mouse’s tail can be as long as its body! • The first mice in North America were stowaways on ships from Europe • You can keep mice on a table without a cage because mice are afraid to jump off high vertical drops. • You should never pick a mouse up by its tail.The tip of the tail may come off. • Mice can chew through anything that is softer than their teeth
