Application Window • The rectangular-shaped viewing area on screen that you are working in. In a graphical user interface (GUI), the boundaries of the window can be easily expanded or contracted.
Dialog Box Launcher • If you look carefully at the bottom right of many groups, there is a small control called the dialog box launcher. Clicking on this will display a dialog box containing even more options. Display the Home tab, and click in the Font dialog box launcher.
Document Window • Document windows are the graphical boxes that pop-up on the screen when the user clicks on a program icon on the desktop.
File • Filea collection of papers arranged in order.
File Compatibility • File extension
