  4. Which Continent? • What are the names of the different continents? • Sort the countries into their correct category… • World Challenge: locate the individual countries on the world map

  5. What would change along the way? • As you follow the journey around the world what sorts of things do you think would change?

  6. Physical Geography/Physical Challenge • The fitness challenge! • Different reliefs along the way… • How long will it take you to complete going round the world?

  7. Physical World Geography • Atlases pp62-63 • Use the information on the maps to work out how the climate would change as you follow the route. • Write your ideas on post-it notes and stick to the world map in the relevant areas.

  8. What to Pack??? • What would you need to pack for your trip? • Write down your ideas on post-it notes and add to your maps to show where you would need certain items of clothing. • What else would you need to keep you safe/healthy on the trip? Make a border of post-its around the map.

  9. What should you take? • There is limited space in you rucksack. • You can only pack 10 items (a maximum of 5 items of clothing) • As a group decide which 10 things are the most important and add a star to each post-it.
