For instance, recent statistics indicate that • 55% of Americans die without a will or estate plan • 25% of people over 75 have no will or estate plan • 92% of people under 35 have no will or estate plan • 50% of parents have no will or estate plan

  4. Core Document #1: A Will A will, sometimes called a last will and testament, is a document that states your final wishes in terms of who you want to inherit your assets. This includes giving your beneficiaries anything from your home or property to your investments to your jewelry or stamp collection.

Core Document #2: A Durable Power of Attorney A Durable Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows for a trusted friend or relative to make financial and business decisions for you, the Principal, should you become incapable of managing your own affairs.
