This study focuses on notable designers William Morris, Orla Kiely, Gerrit Rietveld, Philippe Starck, Issey Miyake, and Alexander McQueen. Students will explore each designer's life, career, and at least two significant works. Three design briefs will be addressed: a repeat pattern design inspired by Morris and Kiely, a product design for a Grand Gallery Info Hub referencing Rietveld and Stark, and a fashion design exploration of body adornment through McQueen and Miyake's creations. Each brief aims to foster a deep understanding of their innovative contributions to design.
