  15. 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad .

  16. THE ABC’S OF TEMPTATIONS 1. Temptation goes Against God. I appointed a living creature to guard you. I put you on the holy mountain of God. You walked among the gems that shined like fire. Because you traded with countries far away, you learned to be cruel, and you sinned. So I threw you down in disgrace from the mountain of God.And the living creature who guarded you forced you out from among the gems that shined like fire. You became too proud because of your beauty. You ruined your wisdom because of your greatness. I threw you down to the ground. Your example taught a lesson to other kings. Ezekiel 28:14, 16, 17

  17. For you said to yourself, “I will ascend to heaven and rule the angels. I will take the highest throne. I will preside on the Mount of Assembly far away in the north. I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High”. Isaiah 14:13-13

  18. THE ABC’S OF TEMPTATIONS 2. Temptation causes us to Blame Others. The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.’ Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:12,13,23,24

  19. THE ABC’S OF TEMPTATIONS 3. Temptations results in our Choice. His weak, human body died on the cross, but now he lives by the mighty power of God. We, too, are weak in our bodies, as he was, but now we live and are strong, as he is, and have all of God's power to use in dealing with you. 2 Corinthians 13:4

  20. 1. You turn from God. 2. You get trapped in Sin. 3. Temptations increase. WHEN YOU LOSE TO TEMPTATION

  21. 1. You show Satan a sign of things to come. 2. You show yourself strength. 3. You show God obedience. WHEN YOU WIN OVER TEMPTATION

  22. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:9-10

  23. 1-4 Reach Out to Jesus - 708 Is your burden heavy as you bear it all alone? Does the road you travel harbor danger yet unknown? Are you growing weary in the struggle of it all? Jesus will help you when on His name you call.

  24. 2-4 Reach Out to Jesus - 708 He is always there, hearing every prayer, faithful and true. Walking by our side, in His love abide all the day through. When you get discouraged, just remember what to do; Reach out to Jesus, He's reaching out to you.

  25. 3-4 Reach Out to Jesus - 708 Is the life you’re living filled with sorrow and despair? Does the future press you with its worry and its care? Are you tired and friendless have you almost lost your way? Jesus will help you just come to Him today.

  26. 4-4 Reach Out to Jesus - 708 He is always there, hearing every prayer, faithful and true. Walking by our side, in His love abide all the day through. When you get discouraged, just remember what to do; Reach out to Jesus, He's reaching out to you.

  27. 1-4 Sing and Be Happy - 587 If the skies above you are gray,You are feeling so blue,If your cares and burdens seem greatAll the whole day thru, There’s a silver lining that shinesIn the heavenly land,Look by faith and see it my friend,Trust in His promises grand.
