Overview • The implementation process is as follows: • DHS agency Mail Management Contact submits Point of Contact’s name, e-mail address, phone number, street and mailing addresses and system required (WebShip, CorporateShip, EasyShip) information to DHL • DHL performs discovery with Point of Contact (where necessary) and creates a DHL account number • DHS Point of Contact personnel attend training via web (part of registering for the web training involves providing an e-mail address) and conference call • An e-mail with the account number and additional system reference materials is sent to the DHS Point of Contact • The DHS Point of Contact must go to the DHL USA web site and register as an online user in order to use WebShip or CorporateShip • Once the DHS Point of Contact person is trained, has an account number and has registered with the DHL system, shipping via DHL can begin WebShip / CorporateShip Info. for DHS

DHL Shipping Methods • There are three automated DHL shipping systems that will be used by DHS • WebShip is a basic web-based shipping system intended to be used at a single site by a single user • Access to the Internet and a printer are required • CorporateShip is a web-based shipping system that is similar to WebShip with the exception being that CorporateShip allows a single DHS CorporateShip Point of Contact to administer multiple DHS accounts / sub-users • Access to the Internet and a printer are required • EasyShip is a stand-alone shipping system that consists of a monitor, PC, modem, scanner, scale, laser printer and label printer • Access to a dedicated telephone line is required • The last and least preferred shipping method is to utilize paper waybills when none of the preceding solutions is practical WebShip / CorporateShip Info. for DHS

  7. Log On to the DHL USA Web Site

  8. Log on to WWW.DHL.COM To log on to DHL, go to: www.dhl.com Select United States of America as your location. WebShip / CorporateShip Info. for DHS

  11. Register as a DHL Online User After you have been given your DHL account number you will need to become a registered user in order to use WebShip and CorporateShip. Click on“Register Now” WebShip / CorporateShip Info. for DHS

  12. Register as a DHL Online User Fill in Sections 1 and 2 and then select “I already have a DHL or Airborne account” WebShip / CorporateShip Info. for DHS

  22. Prepare Shipment Screen • The Prepare Shipment screen will appear after the customer logs in as a user to WebShip / CorporateShip. This is the top portion of the screen. To process a shipment you must complete the entire form. • To recall a stored receiver from the Address Book, use the search function, or, type in the Receiver ID in the Find Receiver by Receiver ID field. Click Retrieve. WebShip / CorporateShip Info. for DHS

  23. Prepare Shipment Screen • Step one of the shipment preparation is Where is the shipment coming from? This is the sender’s information. • Please note the Change address button. This is used when a customer wishes to change the origin address of the package. • The Restore to Account Address button is used when the sender wishes to restore the ship from address to their account address.   24. Prepare Shipment - Destination • Section 2 is Where is this shipment going? Complete these fields with the receiver’s address. WebShip / CorporateShip Info. for DHS

  26. Prepare Shipment - Miscellaneous • Section 4 Do you need anything else?This section is for Value Added Services that the customer can add. Examples are COD, schedule a pick-up, hazardous materials, hold for pick-up and notification choices. WebShip / CorporateShip Info. for DHS

  27. Prepare Shipment - Service Comparison • Section 5 How would you like to ship it?TheService Comparison allows the customer to choose how they would like to ship their package. The What are my options and how much will it cost? link provides the service comparison window where the available services and the associated costs are presented. Prepare Shipment - Payment • After the user has completed their shipment the user will have the option of Print Later or Charge me and print my label. • Charge me and print my label will create a shipment label that can be printed by selecting the print icon within the internet browser. Shipments will be invoiced once the label is printed. • Print Later will create a shipment and store it in the Pending Shipment list to be printed at a later time. Domestic Label Example • This is a typical domestic shipping label generated from the information entered on the shipment preparation screen. • You can also Create a new shipment, View pending shipments or select Print waybill to send the label to your printer.   32. Tracking You can track shipments by entering the tracking numbers, one per line, into the window shown above. Once the tracking numbers have been input, click on Track. WebShip / CorporateShip Info. for DHS

Online Demo User IDs and Passwords • User IDs and passwords for demonstration purposes are available for WebShip / CorporateShip. • To view CorporateShip from the perspective of a CorporateShip administrator: • Enter “newdemocorpca” as the User ID and the word “password” as your password. This will permit the user to view Corporate Administrator functions. • To view CorporateShip from the perspective of a CorporateShip end user and WebShip from the perspective of a single user: • Enter “newdemocorp” as the User ID to review the shipping process as a user and the word “password” as your password.
