This project focuses on the real-time capture, management, and reconstruction of spatio-temporal events. Led by PI Hanan Samet at the University of Maryland, this research aims to improve how we understand and interact with dynamic spatial phenomena. Collaborators from UCLA, UCI, UIUC, and UMD emphasize interdisciplinary approaches, combining techniques from computer science, engineering, and geography. The findings could have significant implications for fields such as urban planning, disaster management, and environmental monitoring.
