  12. Lviv is a major city in western Ukraine. They say that “seeing is believing”. So just watch it and remember that ‘it’s better to experience it once than to observe millions of times..

  13. Modern Lviv has 800 thousand inhabitants and covers 155 square km. The first mentioning of the city in the Chronicle was in 1256 - this year is considered to be the year of foundation of Lviv. Though, in 2000 archaeology discoveries indicated, that the city existed 200 years before the year which was mentioned in the Chronicle. The city appeared in the secondquarter of the 13-th century on the hills of the Castle Hill, where King Danilo Halytsky constructed his castle

  14. Lviv Opera House is the architectural masterpiece of Zygmunt Gorgolevsky. It was constructed in a record term - in three years only, from 1897 till 1900.

  15. Danylo Halytsky, who constructed his Castle on the High Castle Hill, is considered to be the founder of our city.

  18. From the history of LLG • 1906 – gymnasium was founded as women’s school by the bishop Andrey Sheptystkyy • 1956 – it became secondary school specialising in English. Several subjects were tought in English: Biology, Maths, Geography and History • December 1, 2006 – Lviv Linguistic Gymnasium

  23. That’s ME. My name is Sophie Pavliv.I was born in 1995 20th of February. My hobbies are dancing, skiing, tennis, travelling, meeting new people…I am funloving, cheerfull and sociable person. In future I’d like to connect my life with something creative.

  24. Hello everybody! My name is Yura. I’m thirteen and I’m from Lviv, Ukraine. At LLG we study three languages: English, German and Greek. I am also a pupil of the computer academy “ITSTEP” . I play water polo at Dynamo I’m a really good player. I like spending time with friends, playing waterpolo and computer games , fishing and skiing. And I have one hobby when there is nothing to do I write viruses. My name is Oleg. I’m thirteen. At LLG I study English, Polish and German. I Dance in Ukrainian Folk dance group called “Serpanok”. I like spending time with friends, playing waterpolo and football, fishing and skiing.

  25. Dear friends, first of all let me introduce myself. My name is Olya. I’m thirteen years old. I am a pupil of the 4th form of LLG. When I think about my school I don’t remember its walls and desks; it is my teachers and school-mates who will always be with me. My favourite subjects are Literature, Chemistry, English, Physics and Sport. I live in Lviv with my family. It is typical: dad, mum, me, my sister and my dog. My favourite book is “Robinson Crusoe” by Daniel Defoe. Sport is very important part of my life. I like jogging, walking, swimming and skating . Best wishes, Olya.

  26. Hi! My name is Rosyna. I am 14 years old. I have been going in for rhythmic gymnastics for 8 years already. Also I’m fond of dancing. I’m a typical teenager. Sometimes I’m a lazy bone or coached potato. I’m communicative and sociable person. I have a lot of friends and I’d like to have even more. • Hello. My name is Marta. I’m 14 years old and I’m from Lviv. I study at LLG and think that it is fun to study here. I have no sisters or brothers but I have many friends. I like meeting new people and would like to have friends all over the world. Hope to meet some of them among you 

  27. My name’s Sophia. I live in the best country in the world – Ukraine. During all my 13 years I have been living in Lviv. It is very old but beautiful town. My hobby is sport. I have been playing big tennis for 7 years. I like it so much. Also I am fond of skiing. I can say that it is my favourite sport. I am looking forward to winter during the whole year. In my opinion I draw well. I love animals so much. I love my friends they are the best people for me. I’m positive  and funny person. My name is Marta. I’m 14 years old. I like dancing, swimming, skiing, listening to music and walking with friends. I like my school but sometimes I don’t want to do my homework. I’m older in my family I’ve got smaller brother. I’m cheerful, fun loving and always smiling person.

  28. Hello!!! My name is Mary. I'm 14. I live in Lviv and study at LLG. There I have a lot of friends with whom I like to spend my time. Also I want to have friends from other countries and communicate with them. I like listening to music, different types of it, depending on mood. And in general I love Live!!! With best wishes, Marichka!!! My name is Yulya. I am nearly 14. I study at LLG and think that my school is better than others. I have no sisters or brothers but I have a lot of friends. I study at LLG and I like it. I am interested in travelling and meeting new people. I like animals but I have no pet, yet . I’m friendly and cheerful, funny and outgoing person. Hope to meet you soon.

  29. My name is Victoria. I’m 14 years old. I am interested in politics very much and in future I’d like to be a politician. I am a member of European Club and international project “Dreams+Teams”. Beside that I like dancing – it’s my hobby. I have been dancing hip-hop and modern dances in a ballet group called “Timeout” for 2 years. I have also been fond of drawing for 3 years and can draw very good now. I have attended dramatic circle for 4 years already and besides getting pleasure it helped me to become more creative and open-hearted. I like meeting new friends and hope to see you soon  Hi! My name’s Marta Shymonyak. I am 12 years old. I like in a very beautiful city Lviv and I study at Lviv Linguistic Gymnasium. I’m a very active person; a member of European Club and project Dreams+Teams. My favourite sport is tennis and have been going into it for 7 years already. Also I attend swimming pool. I like spending time with friends, meeting new people, watching TV, surfing the net, travelling and taking photos. Hope to meet you soon.

  30. Pavlo 02/11/1994 I go in for archery and water polo. I have already got some medals and diplomas. I also like football, socks, billiards and bowling. I am fond of playing cards, chess and sometimes I enjoy reading fantastic books, listening to DJ, rock and rep music, watching horror films. Hope to find new friends in this project. 
