The weeding process at Moonshine Public Library is essential for maintaining a vibrant, relevant collection. By strategically removing outdated or damaged materials, we foster an intellectually accessible environment that meets community needs. This process offers multiple opportunities, including staff development and improved library visibility. Our mission focuses on enhancing user experience while promoting responsible collection management per professional standards. Emphasizing proactive decisions ensures our library remains a valuable resource, avoiding pitfalls seen in less organized institutions like Sunny Glow Library.
