Making the Decision: Blogs vs Wiki or Neither • Why do you want a site outside of the LMS? • Is this a project, course or organizational based site? • Do you want this site to be accessible by everyone? Will there be guest users? What types of guest users will there be? • Do you want to show chronological details? • How long will this site need to be accessed? (For the course, year, etc…) • What type of functionality do you want this site to have? • How do you want the site to look after the content is populated?

Wikis • GRASPEA 21 – Collaboration on GRASP trip to Spain, student created site that compiled all information for the trip into one centralized area. • ZERO- Student collaborative site built around a centralized theme of the course. • LAKEAPOPKA – Collaboration between multiple groups and classes centered around the issues of Lake Apopka. • SARATOGA – Collaboration between students for a final project depicting the major characters of the Battle of Saratoga.
