Kostas Karvounis THE ROTARY CLUB OF KAVALA,GREECE invites you to join the Summer Camp 2014 29th August - 1st September on Thassosisland for three unforgettable days The participants will have the chance, throughout a 3-day Seminar, to put their leadership skills into practical application, work, discuss and learn about the common problems facing their generation. They will be able to exchange ideas, opinions and plans with young gifted, energetic people like themselves, in an atmosphere free from pressure and distraction. They will meet active Rotary leaders and learn about Rotary, as well as about the meaning of the Rotary International theme: “ Bright up Rotary“. All the while, they will have fun, built friendships and create memories that will last for a life time.

President , Given the opportunity of our invitation, on behalf of the Rotary Club of Kavala, as the President, I would like to wish you a very successful Rotary year. Knowing how difficult being a president is, having to prearrange the yearly program, I hope by sending our invitation early enough you will have time to include us in your annual program. A very interesting English spoken, RYLA Camp willbe held for our future generations on THASSOS island. The curriculum of this challenging and stimulatingRYLA Seminar will be given by Professional Rotarian Trainers with international experience in the field of leadership. Dear Rot. President, I hope RYLA 2014 is appealing to you, to your Rotary Clubas well as to the candidates of the RYLA and you will accept our invitation. Your Club can participate by sponsoring one to two young adults for the “ Summer RYLA Camp – 2014 on Thassos island.”. The fee is 100 Euros for each RYLA candidate. The fee covers only 40% percent of the costs. The rest will be covered by the R.C.KAVALA and the District 2484. Please inform about your participation, as soon as possible in order to reserve a spot. Thank you in advance for your time and effort. Friendly, VouliDimopoulou Thassos is a “must visit” island, rich in history, culture, civilization with numerous sandy beaches and evergreen natural surroundings. The combination of RYLA, summer time, crystal blue sea and 30 young adults, age 18-24,from Bulgaria, Turkey, Rumania and Greece is the perfect recipe to make it “GREAT”.
