  1. Week 22 pg. 41 A car is travelling 50 m/s West, after 5 s, the car is travelling 30 m/s West. What is the acceleration of the car? An airplane begins take-off at 0 m/s up. After 5s, the airplane is travelling 200 m/s up. What is it’s acceleration? Which of these represents a velocity? Why? 65 m/s/s 8 mi/hr N 7 inches/s Give me an example of an object travelling at a constant velocity. Describe what that object would be doing.

  2. Week 22 pg. 41 Describe the speed of an object that is experiencing positive acceleration. Give me examples of what happens to the speed. What does constant and non-constant mean if we are discussing a moving object? What information would you need to know about an object to be able to determine if it accelerating at a constant or non-constant rate? Describe a situation where an object is accelerating at a constant rate? What would that mean? What would the object be doing? Would the speed be constant also?
