  2. Where do I begin? • OSU web homepage www.oregonstate.edu • Use Quick Links and click on Registration Login -or- • Use Student Online Services and click on Online Services Quick Login

  3. How do I Login? • You will need two numbers. • Your OSU Student ID number and • Your GAP (General Access Pin) number

  4. Your OSU ID number is a nine digit number assigned at the time of admission. It begins with the number 9. What is my OSU ID number?

  5. The GAP (General Access PIN) is a six digit number known only to you. The GAP is initially set to your birth date (MMDDYY), when you first enter the system you will need to select a new six digit number. The GAP allows access to your student record and other information about you. What is my GAP?

  6. How do I choose a new GAP? • You will be prompted to select a new GAP number • Type your birth date again in the Old Gap box and the new six digit number twice in the new GAP boxes. • Remember – Keep your GAP secure!!

  7. Security Question • Next enter a security question and answer. • If you ever forget your GAP you will be able to reset it to your birth date and create a new GAP if you answer this correctly.

  8. Navigating the Menu • Registration moves you through the registration process. Click on Registration to proceed. • Student Records is useful to view your transcript and obtain an enrollment verification. • Personal Information is where you can update your address, GAP, and security question.

  9. In the registration menu click on Register/Add/Drop Classes You can also search for classes, view your schedule, and customize your textbook list. Registration

  10. Next you must select the term you are registering for. In most cases the term will be listed in the box. Click the Submit button to continue Select a term

  11. Before you can register for classes you must schedule a meeting with your advisor. Your advisor will provide a registration pin number to you so you can proceed with registration. Enter the number and click the Submit button to continue. Registration Pin Number

  12. Next verify your mailing address. You will do this the first time you register each term. Click the certification button to continue Verify Address

  13. Adding Courses • You can enter your Course Reference Numbers (CRNs) in the boxes near the bottom of the page. Click the Submit Changes button when you are finished. • You can also click on class search to look for open sections.

  14. At a minimum, identify the subject you wish to search for. The more items identified will narrow your search. After you have made your selections click the class search button at the bottom of the page. Class Search

  15. Here we searched for ANTH (Anthropology) courses You can select a section by clicking on the box to the left of the section and scroll to the bottom of the page to click the Register button. Example of search result

  16. Now you are registered for a section of ANTH 110. If you wish to drop this section click on the Action drop box and select Drop/Delete and click on the Submit Changes button Now you are registered

Extended Campus Courses(Ecampus) • Ecampus offers Math 65 and 95 (Elementary and Intermediate Algebra), among other courses • Students participating in these courses are notified of the separate billing which will occur. An example of the notification box is below. • Click ok to register for the class. If you decide not to participate in the course you will need to drop the course after clicking ok.

  19. Once you have completed registration, click on Student Schedule by Day & Time. The schedule will display your weekly course schedule. Click on file, choose print to receive a printed copy of your schedule. If you have group midterms they will appear on the schedule as well. Group midterms begin at 6 p.m. Schedule by Day & Time

  20. When you have completed registering and printing your schedule be sure to exit the system. Exit the system by clicking on EXIT located in the upper right corner of the screen. Exit to keep your record secure. How do I end my registration session?
